Ice Climbing

Kinlochleven is home to Ice Factor, the National Centre for Ice Climbing which has the world's biggest indoor ice climbing wall, as well as rock climbing walls, an aerial adventure course and a fantastic cafe.

To enjoy the water and scenic surroundings from a different perspective, why not try kayaking with one of the many companies who offer this activity?  Action Glen - Glencoe (formerly Paddle Lochaber) offer sea kayak rental from Ballachulish, as well as mountain biking, archery, paddle boarding. We have used Rockhopper Sea Kayaking in the past, who were excellent.

Bike Hire

Route 78 of the National Cycle Network passes right through Duror, making it possible to cycle on family friendly bike paths from here, all the way from Oban to Fort William. This route forms part of the Caledonia Way long-distance route. There are bike hire facilities in Glencoe Village, Ballachulish and Port Appin,
